Preparing for a Successful Job Interview
This course shows the three main components of interview preparation that will make you more at ease during your interview and help you to take full advantage of the opportunity that an interview presents. It explains how to dig deep in researching the organization, the division or department and your prospective project manager. It also covers making authentic connections by finding and clarifying what it is about this field, organization or job that excites you. The last section explains how to prepare and practice for the interview, including questions you should have for the interview, phone or email screening, behavioral interviewing, pre-visiting and how to dress for the interview.

Peter Carley has over twenty years of experience in human resources management and organizational development. He has consulted with and worked for start-ups, large scale international organizations, nonprofits, and individuals interested in maximizing their career and compensation growth. Peter has a particular passion for helping organizations and leaders manage their people more effectively: fully leveraging their performers with the most potential; providing tools to turn around problem employees; and successfully separating employees who are not a good fit for the organization.
